About Us

Our Mom & Pop trading post was established in 2007 as a solitary effort by Wilford. Before long Wilford's wife, son, and daughter-in-law all signed on as enthusiastic team members. Our operation is now a true family enterprise!

We are strategically located in Gallup, New Mexico, known as the heart of Indian jewelry country. We buy directly from artists and area wholesalers. Our wide array of jewelry represents work from nearly all the Southwestern jewelry producing tribes which most prominently include the Navajo, Zuni, Hopi, and Santa Domingo. Many of our contacts are made at the art shows such as the annual Santa Fe Indian Market and the yearly Gallup Inter-tribal Ceremony.

Wilford has long recognized that most Native American jewelry makers remain relatively unknown and receive little name recognition. This website is dedicated to promoting the artists who produce quality Native American Jewelry. We consider this work a book in progress and we hope it will serve as a useful reference source for Native American jewelry collectors throughout the world.
